Firstly, we need pics of your zook
Removing leaves will definately help. Start with removing the bottom load leaf, and see how it goes.
And WTF would you need drop boxes for on a sierra?

Hey guys just wondering if anyone can give me some advice on getting better flex. I obtained a suzuki sierria converted into a ute wt, it has 2 inch body and 2 inch springs just wondering if anyone here knows what i can do to get good flex. It has 2 inch king springs and is very very hard like no movement at all hardly, I was thinking of removing some leafs out?? I no I can get drop boxes but cant afford it atm lol so any help will be very much apperciated thx. |

sorry dude i dont no i was told there very good for flex lol so yeah new to suzuki stuff was a patrol guy but hated getting showed up by zooks lol even no i was comp readdy other than lockers |

Yeah drop boxes are a patrol thing. You aren't by chance confusing them with drop shackles? If so, just forget about them for now. Very expensive way to go about it. Pics???? |

If you go onto facebook, open the picture, right click and hit properties, copy the URL and add the picture on here useing the picture tab under "post reply"... As said above removeing leafs is usally the way togo |

well thanks for the help the people that have commented ill take the load leaf out of the front 2 and the back 2 and put some weight on the back spare tyre tool box or somethink?? |

Build a new tray for it. One thats a bit bigger and sturdier, with a roll bar built in. You could also slip your spare in between the chassis and the tray. Adding some weight to the back will help balance it and force the springs to work. You'll also get a more usable tray

The front shackle angle look near vertical. If that is the case, it will make for a harsh ride. Check your shocks, you don't know how much abuse this rig has seen. The shocks could be stuffed, and binding up. |

For 1 yeah i did buy it off a guy on here mostlikely but i seen it on boost not here just signed up here and jason. (Not all cars are bought good it is a project) I think you are very rude in what you say mate but any way about my car, i am going to add a rollbar and 2 bars that go to the back and a spare wheel carrier take some leafs out and hopefully it will inprove and i cant really complain i bought it for $1500 it is converted to a ute has front and rear lockers winch bar and winch and lift spotties i think it was an ok deal on and the engine looks pretty clean but everyone has there own opinions . |

Matt, you may have bought someone elses misguided project, but I see it as an opertunity to rescue a zook in need
Start with simple mods and maintanence. You should REALLY consider a new tray, as that type of high, short and exposed tray will draw unwanted attention from the Po-Po. What sort of fab skills/ equipment do you have if any? |

hey guys yeah I can weild not too great at it but i guess good enough to get me threw, first things first is the carby i think it is stuffed so If anyone has a spare for sale just tell me as for action pics i havent had a chance just yet but is it a bad idea to stick 4 inch patrol lovel shocks in it it alreddy has 4 inch shocks in it as fopr want33's comment it wasent aimed towards me it was more to the guy who sold it to me he is arip off and i am starting to belive want33 cause the guy sold it to me saying it was the fuel pump. the fuel pump seems to be pumping fuel fine any way want33 pm'ed me saying that it was not aimed at me more to the dodgy sale so no hard feelings lol |

Hi Matt, My 91 WT has 2" King Springs. They work OK now, but earlier..... From my members thread: http://www.auszookers.com/index.php?nam ... pic&t=4613 "The 2inch King Springs (SUZ-006 and SUZ-002) in the Zook were terrible. NO flex at all and it was as uncomfortable as anything! I removed some leaves and replace the nolothane bushes with rubber ones which made it much better. The King Springs are not what I would call awesome for ride comfort, but now they do the job." I hope that helps. Pez |
