Given it's on the Ausrotary forum I'd bet it's rotary powered. Cool idea, shoulda kept it a real LJ though. |

Cool idea, shoulda kept it a real LJ though. Many, many years ago, I was sitting at a set of lights in my LJ50 and a Mazda Rotary pulled up next to me filled with a bunch of young dickheads. One guy leaned out of the window, after hearing the 2 stroke idling, and said "Maaate! Love the Rotary!" To be fair, both the LJ50 and the Mazda Rotary are 2 stroke engines and do sound similar. |

The rotary's are neither two nor four stroke really, as both terms apply to piston engines strictly, but they do inject oil like a two stroke, to lubricate the seals... |
