Can anyone shed any light on why my bottom leaves look as they do. Havn't seen any like it before and havn't had time to get to the spring specialists yet and am curious as to why it maybe.
Cheers Matt.

Thanks gents.
I knew the load bearers were meant to be flat but hadn't thought thats what they were and might have been overloaded. Will be getting some lifted jobbies down the track so will just keep it going till then.

All WT's I have seen (standard) looked like that. I wonder if there was a strange batch of springs made :?

Yes id agree with you there! Maybe the idea behind them is to try and give some sort of progressive spring loading once the pack starts to come in contact with them? :?

Yep spot on! my bottom ones actually snapped at the centre bolt on my epic mission due to being grossly overloaded!

Well I spoke to the spring guru in town and he thinks they have neen put upside down as it was too stiff the other way and done as not to have to replace the u bolts. Its a 94 WT Softtop with 164000 on the clock. So buggered if I know really.
