Thay can but not advised, you need to grind down part of the caliper to fit 15's, can't remember the off set but it's very neg..

Atari has done it with the 4cyl & I think you need the same offset..

pics would be great will taking a bit off the caliper cause problems
can you get a 16 inch rim in a 16x7 sunny?
finding some decent second hand 16 inch tyres is damn hard.

yeah you can 16" sunnies... will get some pics of the calipers, i've seen hot rods that have had a fair bit taken off the calipers & they've been engineered.

16" are hard to come by and if you look around for some F150 16's they have a offset on them but still very hard to find.
I am thinking of removing my 16" front brakes of the 94 Vit and going back to 15" as I have heaps of rims.
But I do like the way it stops with the larger brakes up front and the big tyres on.

what size are you having trouble finding??? I went and asked yesterday about tyres and was told they are everywhere. Stupid sizes are hard to find but the more common size should be simple.

Like i said before im not really after rims its tyres and i cant afford new tyres at the moment. But there are always second hand 15 inch tyres coming up.
I have only found one set of a/t's that will fit on my vitara with the current setup.

Anyway im not to keen on grinding the the calipers down to fit the 15's so ill just keep searching for some bigger rubber for the 16's

Thanks for the replys guys.
