I have a '96 Vit G16b efi engine, I have just noticed a coolant leak dripping off the bottom of the bellhousing. I have had a look with a torch and a mirror, but cant see where the leak is coming from.

Is there a frost plug in the back of the block behind the flywheel or something?

If so i guess its and engine out job to replace it?

Yes there is a Welsch plug in there.
Yes it is an engine out or gearbox out job to fix it.

Thanks man, I dropped a Seal-well cube in there yesterday, which seems to have stopped the leak for now. Am going up the hill hunting this arvo, and again on Monday. So hopefully it holds it for a bit, until i can pluck the engine out and replace the plug/s.

Cheers.
