Hey all, my missus owns a 1999 2 door grand vitara with the 2L petty, was thinking of swapping my accord euro for it (she is about to change job locations and its a 100km commute each day) so i put forward the idea of swapping mine for hers so she could still take 'her' car up the beach for surfing if she wants to - but have the euro for long trips.

I would like to make a 'minitruck' out of this as well, maybe some tyres, bit of suspension, and engine work. Are there any inherant problems with these cars? She is having gearbox crunching issues atm, but would replace that upon sale.

I arnt really looking for a weapon off road suzi as i have jsut picked up a 4.2L GT35R powered turbo petrol patrol with all the fruit, so that going to be my main 4B.

Guess i am looking for some inspiration to do the trade, and if someone has some tough grand vitara pictures then please post them up.
