Ok.. Well I have been trying to fit the hoses to my new snorkel but I need to use a reducer, which is both shit and hard to find. So I was thinking about just taking all of the piping off except for the 90 bend straight out of the air box. ANd just hooking the snorkel up directly to that.
BUT I can see that there is a vacuum line which travels to the part that I am taking off. (Not sure of Jargon)
This vacuum line appears to take pull a flap over the air intake when there is too much air getting into the system??
So I was wandering if it would affect the motor if I took this vacuum line off?

it diverts hot air into teh intake when the temp is cold, dont need it
