| Post subject: | Racing seat mounting bolts. What thread? |
Hey all, I'm trying to mount one of the Autotechnica seats pictured below. They are the ones autobarn/repco were selling cheap a while back and I know a few people on here have em. I'm trying to figure out what bolts I need to mount the rails to the seat. The hole looks to be about 8mm sized but the standard M8x1.5 bolts I have lying around dont fit. Does anyone here know what size and thread the mounting bolts need to be?
For the tech....they are going into a suzuki |

Its an M8. Can't remember the thread pitch but it may have been 1.25.... |

yeah mine came with a M8 allen key headed bolts. I hate them with a passion and tried to put some M8 1.5's in there but the thread was different so maybe 1.25 like ben said. |

Picked the seat up 2nd hand, hence no bolts. Must have been an M8x1.25 that I tried then |

Do the holes look stripped? I wouldnt be surprised if some cawk has stripped them putting wrong bolts in, making the M8 hard to put in. |
