this has probly been discussed many of times before, but i have a 99 model jimny on 31s and i want to bring the gearing back to pretty much standard, which is around 14 percent, is there any where i may be able to get gears for the standard jimny tcase or not????

I think you'll find that you need about 20% lower gearing to gear back to stock with 31's.
Add in the higher rolling resistance and increased aerodynamic drag of the larger tyres and you will find the 24% reduction offered by the TrialJimny gears is ideal..... on road.
However, with the added grip of 31's, I don't think that 24% lower than stock gearing is not enough for offroad use.
It is possible to add the APIO low range planetary set with the trial jimny gears for a low range of about 5.2:1 (pretty sweet with 31's) but you'll have to weigh up if that's too much money to tip into a jimny case and you're better off starting off with a gear drive sierra case.
Steve.

stuff that, i had a wide track standard tcase in the shed, might just put that in with out changing the ratio because thats lower then the jimny any way as far as i know, does that sound right

i run 5.14 calmini tcase gears on my sierra with 31's and on road and off its geared spot on...
i'd suggest the same for a jimny on 31s.
if you're going to the effort of chucking a sierra case in you might as well open it up and rebuild it with a gear set.
