just put an after market temp gauge in my sierra just wondering what temp it should run at my gauge is in farenheight |

Your thermostat will be about 86 degrees open, so I reckon between 90 and 95 degrees C. So thats 194 F to 203F. |

it,s sitting pretty steadey at around 170-180 degrres f so i would say there might be a little inacurasy in the gauge or my new thermostat is opening at a lower temp. thanks for the help fat zook |

So thats about 75 - 82 C. It depends where the gauge gets its signal from aswell. I'd say thats indicating a little cold. But just for safety sake, if your gauge sees 200, pull over. |
