Hey fellas i no this has been asked many times and ive been looking at other posts but its making my head spin haha :? . Ive just got a 1997 1.6L efi vitara with all wiring (i think) and i want to do the common swap into a 1.3L sierra. Firstly i want to test it in the vitara but the shitty immobiliser wont let me start it and i dont have the thingy to turn it off  , had a look at bypassing it but all the wires are black! 8O Any ideas? Also wats the easiest way to swap the wiring? Like is there and adaptor or should i tear all the sierra wiring out and replace it with the vitara's :?:
Sorry bout all the reading but any help would be great :D

I had one in my vit. There was a black box under the dash that all the black wiring went into. I just unplugged it. Car works fine

WA's mandatory immobilisers are N/O relays so that doesnt work

to get rid of it just start following the wires from the immobiliser into the loom, when you get a wire thats just tapped into a factory wire, snip it off

when you get to probably 2 or 3 pairs of wires that a factory wire has been cut and the 2 sides joined to a black wire each they are the immobilsed circuits, just cut the black wires off and join the cut wires in the factory loom back together, I reckon youll find at least one of these pairs around the loom from the key

should go fine then

Cheers guys, ill try unplugging it but something tells me it'll be to easy to be true  haha if that fails ill try rejoining the wires myself which sounds good then if that doesnt work ill call someone out :D

As for the wire transering i'll talk to that guy and see wat he reckons.
Thanks again :D
