Doing the gears in my transfer case at the moment. Does anybody know if you can get different ratio speedo gears to adjust for bigger tyres? If so i might as well do it while i have the transfer out. any help would be great thanks |

you can put nt 1.3 gears into a 1 litre with 31's to correct it but otherwise I dont think there is an easy option like that |

You should be able to find someone in Brissy who will make up a speedo correction box - mounts to the transfer and changes the speedo cable drive ratio to match your new tyre rolling circumference. A hotrod workshop would be a good place to start as they'd be needing speedo correction for pretty much every hotrod they build (rego purposes). |

Thanks I'll have to have a hunt for some today. Hope to find a new shaft for the case. |

Should be way out, but accurate as My LJ's the same , I have NT switch light transfer gears, 4.6 diffs , 33's and a Vit dash cluster . |

Aghhh ive found the answer i was looking for the speedo is adjustable "Remove the frame (four bolts at corners), the glass (two screws between speedo and tach), the speedo needle (carefully pull it straight off), and the face of the speedo (two tiny screws on either side of needle post), and you'll see a lever to the left of the trip/odo meters. Move that lever UP to slow down the speedometer, and move it down to speed it up. Check it with just the face and needle in place (and if you have the top down put the glass on, too, so wind won't move your needle). As I said earlier, it took me three stops to zero it in."
