Have you sat in them? did you like them? are they within your budget? If you answered yes to all of these questions then who cares what anyone else thinks. :D

People change older hilux seats for a reason. Flat and unsuportive. But that also depends on how late model the seats are.

fook me I thought forums where to get opinions and thoughts of others as well as knowledge.

The seats are late model non airbag and anything has got to be better than a zook seat except for maybe only a brick

all of the stuff above is some ones opinion.

there are alot of much better choices for seats that will be equal or less work.

I guess it also depends on the size of the seat width. Sierra seats are small. Larger seats like wrx seats, tend not to fit properly.

Do they have flat mounts also? It will make it easier to fit them.

I agree, if you are going to the trouble of making different seats fit I'd be looking for something more comfortable that a lux seat. Maybe something out of a passenger car if you don't want to go aftermarket.

Well guess no one likes Lux seats I was only asking because I used to have a lux and they were ok in it, they are also a narrow seat.
So Tanshi what are better choices, I gotta get rid of the brick

I've got the stock '93 WT Sierra seats (fabric finish) and love them. Mine WERE uncomfortable when I first got it, mainly due to the laid-back driver's seat back position, but I modified the seat mechanism so the seat back can sit more upright - heaps more comfortable after that. Did 35 hours continuous in them Adelaide to Perth and was still feeling fine at the end.

Gti seats are the go if you can find a set. I have a 2003'hilux sr5 and those seats would be ok I guess, not as good or easy to fit as the gti seats though. Fit what ever you have easy access to just don't ruin your standard rails
So if it is a crap choice you can go back

Yeah they only bolt straight in if you have never actualy fitted a set otherwise they are pretty close requiring slight mods.
