Hey guys, Had issues getting my Jimny to engage 4wd while up at double island over the weekend. It's a push button transfer model, and when pushed you hear the vacuum lines trying to engage ok, the light for 4wd flashes once, then nothing. I couldn't see any obvious issues with the vac lines and didn't get any error beeps. Any ideas would be great.. Cheers |

Check the solenoid wiring underneath the car on the transfer case - the wires are quite poorly exposed and are easily snapped. This is what happened to me anyway. |

Vacuum leak's don't throw a warning beep. If the pump can't get pressure with in a specified time it shuts off. |

I will check the solenoid leads. Steknig, any good ways to test whether its a vacuum issue then? |
