Is it possible to fit a transfer case with a high ratio to a 2003 jimny with a m13a motor? The reason I ask,is I have just had a s/h transfer case fitted & while driving home I was doing 100km/h @ 4,000rpm according to my speedo/tacho,but a friend who was following says he had to do 120km/h to keep up.I am running 215/75x15 BFG AT's which would account for approx 5km/h.I won't mind if it is geard up a bit,as i've always thought it needed another gear. Any Thoughts? |

I'm assuming that the apeedo drive on a Jimny is on the output of the T-Case like a Sierra so changing ratios won't make a difference to accuracy of the speedo reading... |

maybe you speedo needs to be adjusted? my 215's put my speedo out by about 10km/h. |

Go down to Jaycar, get yourself a speedo adjusting kit and a soldering iron. once fitted you can adjust the speedo to be correct. goodluck |
