Hey,
Starting my coilpack 1.6 conversion this w/end. Just wondering what ppl have done about the knock sensor when fitting the 1.3 sump? Mounted it elsewhere, modified the sump or bought a aftermarket sensor and mounted on the block somewhere?

Also what brand extractors fit a 93 WT with the bent kit used to fit a coilpack 1.6?

Thanks

the thing at the front? thats the crank angle sensor

you either need to weld the section of baleno sump in or get the dump off a late vit / x90 with teh mount for it, joeblow has made mention of that on here before somewhere

X2.

No knock sensors on a baleno.

As royce said, either cut and shut the baleno sump with a sierra one, or get an X-90 sump.

yeah. Just be careful to line the flange up. Otherwise you may get a leak.

I'll get some during the day tomorrow. I had to 'shape' the sump a little to get the 2 pieces to line up, as they are a slightly different profile from memory.

As for extractors, just use 16v EFI vitara extractors. They are essentially the same head.

Cheers
Peter

PS. I need your phone number for frieght carrier 8) PM me
