Hey guys

I'm due for some new rims soon (2 of mine are pretty wobbly!) and considering 2 options:

1) Replace with the same rims (Speedy Desert Rat 15x7) and get them powder coated silver again cos white is ugly.

2) Replace with f100 15x7's and have the centres flipped for more width, then have powdercoated silver.

I'm not after tons more width though, a -25/30 would be spot on - and the speedy appears to be the most offset wheel available at 15x7 -15. I'd happily take on off-the-shelf 15x7 if it had more offset but can't seem to find one.

I don't want to go 15x8s as im not sure yet if my next tyre will be a 9.5" wide.

Thoughts?

can you get the wheels flipped cheaply?

If not, just buy some desert rat wheels, or procomp wheels. Both are available with good offsets.

Call Ryano at Fourbys in Brisbane. They ship wheels and tyres nationally every day.

strange - i checked procomp and they only do -6 for 15x7 to suit sierra?

not sure on cost of flipping as yet... lol im sure its not cheap but i was hoping to save a bit by buying cheaper rims in the first place if i went that way.

Then again my last set of speedys were only $55ea.

You sure its your rims that are wobbling?

1 of mine wobbles, but its not the rim..Its the axle..

haha yeah its most certainly the rim - every time i get them balanced they need more weight in the same spot!

I do however run simex et's and tubes... so theres a lot of variables on weight distribution!
