2" is 50.8mm 50mm is not going to make a difference. Just shit stirring. Is it a stock motor? My exhaust is only 2" on a 1.6 Baleno mtr. Stock is prob 1.25" Stainless exhaust is my vote while your at it! |

with a pipe bender of course... You might want to go down to your local exhaust shop and get them to do it. Probably the best thing to do is tell them what angle you want it bent at, otherwise take your car down there and do a bit of trial fitting. |

ok thought it would be not thick enough and it would crink using a pipe bender exaust place sound like a good idea |

You can buy stainless bends, to weld them in. Unsure what sizes and where to buy. Most people go 3". Exhaust shop bender will crush the tube, and probably look poo. You have a tig to use? Normal mig will be shithouse. |

all pipes will stretch and squash on the bender, have a look at one of your exhaust bends, it'll kinda turn out like that. No big deal really. |

Cut the pipe to correct lengths. Weld the bends on. Wasnt this meant to be a simple question? |

2" will be fine. as Blue said. if you have a tig and the correct bends, then go for it. when putting a hole through your guard, you may want to look for a sheet metal shop that has a hand held punch to punch out the hole instead of a hole saw, which in the wrong hands can end up very messy..... we have a few little units at my work with punches ranging from 22-90 odd mm in dia. much cleaner hole, a lot less work. |

I'm actually installing my snorkel right now, I just used the jigsaw with a metal blade. With a steady hand it's turned out alright. |
