Just FYI, the 1.0 is a different engine series to the 1.3. The 1.0 is an F series (F10A). The 1.3 is a G series (G13A, G13BA etc). The G series heads can be interchanged between blocks (to a degree anyway, I know of a few hybrid motors). I assume the F series are similar. But being different series motors, you can't mix and match bits. |

meh. They've been flowing into the country for years. Not so much the last 10, but before that they were everywhere Derek at suzuisport Lawnton has a built G10 turbo that he used to run in his buggy. It made some silly HP too if I recall. |
That's an interesting motor but it looks like it would be a massive PITA to get into a sierra. Steve.
same amount of drama as the F6 or K6 motors I recon. |

Are the internals on a f10 anywhere near strong enough for a turbo with just a little huff? |

you'de get away with a 4-5psi intercooled setup IF your motor was in good condition. But you'de be lucky to see a 30% power gain which would still have you at factory 1.3L power levels or less. |

The G10 is a three banger, so the 1.3 head doesn't fit that either |

Gwagensteve wrote: ![]() That's an interesting motor but it looks like it would be a massive PITA to get into a sierra. Steve. It shouldn't be significantly more difficult than swapping a DOHC G13B from a Swift in - the biggest problem would most likely be the distributor to firewall clearance - the tranny bolt pattern is the same as the 1.3, you will have to fab engine mounts, do your own intake & exhaust plumbing, and of course the ECU and wiring harness |
