Thay seem to be narrow enough, but if thay are from a S or Z badged thay will have side air bag's, no good to you....
Get a tape out & measure them, please tell how thay go tho..

Hey guys, I've seen alot of people putting earlier model swift and gti seats in sierra's so just wondering if the 06 ones would fit with as little modification? couldnt find the answer from searching. Thanks |

i got 2007 swift seats in mine. bit of messing around and are a fraction wider than the stock ones but still fit....and really comfy |

What sort of messing around? It seems earlier ones are just drilling a couple more holes in the rails? What did you actually need to do to get the 07 seats to mount successfully? Thanks again |

one of the rails bolts up really easy, the other one is the prick. i just used a piece of 40mm flat bar and re-drilled some holes. its just a case of getting ya new seats, stripping off the old rails, and stripping the rails of ya stock sierra seats, and then taking measurements between the 2. then off to bunnings to get some flat bar and the nuts and bolts ya need. Just take ya time and remember to measure the distance from the rails to the edge of ya seats, as you dont wanna get the rails all mounted to the seats, then find that the seats themselves rub on the B pillar or on the seat belt buckle. Sorry dont have any pics of the fab, but heres one of what they look like after for inspiration

Thanks mate they look really good, I think i'll get the seats this week and give it a crack on the weekend. I'll let you know i go. |

when i put the recaros in my vit, i just used fielders roof zips into a couple of blocks of 90 x 45 from underneath, then just tek screwed the original rails into the timber!... easy as, and solid as a rock

i did a bit of research, and most places seem to reccomend a grade of 8.8 as a minimum. |

really 'high tensile' isnt a term cause then you have to define what high means 8.8 is a grade, it is the most common form of bolt specced and is only applicable to metric bolts, its imperial equiv is GR5, there is also metric grade 4.6 (lower tensile) and 12 something (higher) most bolts in a car are likely to be 4.6 in reality |

Metric can be bought in G8.8, G10.9 and G12.9 quite easily from most reputable bolt suppliers. Although the last 2 tend to be more available in SHCS (socket head caps screws) than anything else. |

Dan X2 Dan My swb had one cracked and the driverside inner rear was torn out completely. I had to cut a piece of plate for under each. |
