Hi I am new to this so here goes.

I am about to undertake an engine swap on my 91' swb vitara replacing my g16a carbi to a g16b efi motor that i am extracting out of a 94' lwb.

I have sourced a new fuel tank and lines understanding they are different needing an additional pump and high pressure fuel lines.

My question is has any one out there preformed this engine swap and what problems may I expect to encounter and any suggestions would be appreciate.

Regards
Emma

Yes been there done that... 8O

NOW LISTEN UP!!!

If your going to do this yourself / backyard it. I cant stress this enough so here it is in CAPS..

:x MAKE SURE YOU GET THE ENGINE WITH ALL COMPONENTS INC COMPUTER, WIREING HARNESS & COIL + IGNITER FROM THE EXACT SAME VEHICLE. :!:

Try to see it all in the vehicle b4 you but it.

Yeah get a efi fuel tank if you can. I just put a external VL pump on mine with a serge tank. Apart from that its a easy swap.

You should have a look at my website at the pics ect of mine. http://www.zook4x4.oz20.com

If you need any other advise PM me or mail me and I'll give you my phone number. :D
