I have a 1993 Vitara and want to install 6.5 inch Splits up the Front. The car has Both Passenger and driver side door pockets. I was wondering if anyone has installed a set of Speakers in their Doors to post up a photo showing of the location they have installed them.. I intend on making some MDF Side Panels for the rear of the Vitara to fit some Speakers slightly larger then the 5.25 inch that are currently down the back.. |

So to fit say a Set of 6.5 inches I would be looking at a Pod??? |

those 5" are about 65mm deep IIRC, there is more room down the bottom where the 8 is but its not the optimal spot the inner panel is pretty crappy so some type of MDF reinforcment would give you enough clearance and brace it up a bit |

Well I just installed some Pioneer 2-ways under the stock Speaker Grills at the front and they sound good.. so I am now just gonna try and Beef up the rear stage. Not to sure about 6x9's as Clearance would be an Issue... |

in my gf's soft top vitara (92) i put two 6x9s in the rear door. i may remake the rear panel out of mdf in the future but for now they sound good and give good clarity even with the seats up. can get pics if needed. |
