is it true (was told by an exhaust shop) that extractorsare almost no good if removed from another engine and fitted to mine?
it didn't make sense but he was either convinced he was right, or was trying to sell me the set he had there...

depends how old they are, extractors dont really last that long before they start cracking and getting thin inside, thats why factory manifolds are cast steel, factory tube manifolds would be a lot cheaper to make |

depends on how they are treated, anywhere form 1 to 10 years I guess |
