Yeah they are really expensive like the look of em alot though, but yeah the cherokee flares are also an option that I was thinking and prob more in my price range. Does Timbo have a build up on here? |

He cut a section out and built a checkered plate cap. Open up a new tab and put the site through google translator. It'll do the whole site, but won't show pics but you can flip between them to get the gist of it. |

And if ya like me, I signed up and messaged him through the forum (they are all the same layout 90% of the time). He speaks good english so it should be good. I lost his message me he runs some audi/bmw suspension setup. Someone else should join and tell him to join here like I did |

I've got a set of Bushwacker flares from Rockyroad/Lowrangeoffroad You know, the set that has two pairs of Wrangler rears? I'll put 'em on once my Zook is back together, but i think they look mean.. Worth every cent of the $500 i paid! Also, unlike most other plastic flares these are practically indestructable! I can jump on them and they just bounce back into shape lol That's obv not mine, my Zook is way cooler. |

no your zook is not cooler and no they are not practically indestructable. as soon as they are mounted and they hit anything you will probably break them. |

Keyword, "probably" Which suggests you "probably" haven't used them before, "probably" can't afford them and "probably" shouldn't be negging on them. You wanna come over and watch me jump on one? And a mate has the regular Bushwacker kit on his Wrangler, same style but with fronts ofcourse.. He grinded one a few weekends back against a creek bank, he broke his front blinker, but only has a small graze on the flares If you did that with a WT metal flare it would be absolutely rooted.. So shh |

I personally have not used them because I have seen them fail first hand, why pay a shit load of money for something that only looks good but has no practicalities? I don't doubt you can jump on it and it will be fine but it is a little bit different when they are mounted to a steel panel and lean the car up against a tree or a bank. Of course a WT metal flare would be rooted but so would any tin flare, the double black flares is a lot more durable and can pop back out after the vehicle is on its side or anything else. This thread is about vitara's not sierra's anyway which have a completely different flare type by the look so sorry for the hijack BlackZookie, i'll go away now. |

Well i've seen them take some rediculous punishment first hand, they look amazing.. Are the best flare in that width avaliable.. And are very durable from everything ive seen. The Vitara in the thread above has the Wrangler bushwacker rears all round, which is basically the Sierra kit anyway I think it looks pretty decent |

I dont think bushwacker flares are necessary on a vitara. In order to fill those flares you need some mega offset rims.. thats something a vitara doesnt really need. |
