hey guys my new vitara 95 injected has a strange ticking noise coming from what appears to be the plenum on the drivers side of the engine bay. it only does it between 2000rpm and 4000rpm.
Anyone had this happen before?

might need to adjust ya tappets?

nah not tappets but was thinking more like injector or something else electrical. not sure where or what to look for thats all.
thought maybe one of the vit boys may know

if you have a nice quiet running engine then the injectors clicking will sound like quite a racket

grab a long thing screwdriver and stick one end on an injector and the other on your ear and listen, if they all sound the same then I'd say youd be right

ticking issue solved...
turns out a clapped out pollution solenoid was crying out for help.
