Hey guys so I'm planning on getting a haltech wired into my car next month, and later putting a turbo in... my questions is.

Is it worth trying to install a trigger wheel for the haltech?
Its a 96 vitara g16b mpfi with dizzy and cam angle sensor with batch injection.

Also what is the easiest way to get a trigger wheel on there? I know you can use the 13bb crank gear oil pump and sump( dose the sump fit? Or need to be modified?) Sounds like to much of a long mess job for a simple trigger wheel!
Or I've seen a few people get a trigger wheel machines to fit and bolt onto the harmonic balancer?

What has everyone else done with their turbo after market setup? Did you just keep batch injection? Or...?

I plan on using this for the trigger:

Haltech has an option in it's trigger configuration for the G16B. That trigger wheel should work, I'm certainly hoping it does since I have two on order.

setup Haltech crank sensor type:

My plan is to use an intake manifold from a G16B that has the throttle body on the right side of the engine and use a Bosch 60mm DBW Throttle Body with the Elite 1500 so I can have a cruise control. The Garrett GT2052 seems to be about ideal for my purposes. It supports between 140 and 230 HP.

BTW, I would suggest you download the Haltech ECU configuration software and check it out.
