Don't know if this has been done but have a few spare chassis and was wondering if I could make a trailer out of them?
The current plan would be to either bend or cut and weld the front and then have a little box on the back.
I could use the original springs (may need to get an axel )
If you've got any thoughts on the idea I'm happy to hear them.

Use trailer part to built trailers. Car parts belong on cars

I have built several trailers from chassis, Mainly Landrover. They have been brilliant, same wheel track, with spare parts & worked perfectly. So if you have the ability go for it.

I have looked at quite a few on google images, even a few builds around both long and short wheel base chassis. Suzuki panels are light and generally lighter than the panels on trailers, you can retain the original leaf springs, depending on your load you can always remove 1 leaf. Some I have seen retain the fuel tank as a reserve, some replace it with a water tank, do some research you might be surprised at the quality of some of the builds.

Mint idea! Have two 40l tanks, one fuel and another water, run small diameter hoses so they can basically gravity feed and have a small hand pump for the remnants...

Also the weight would stop the excessive bounce. Electric brakes would be a welcomed addition also.
