What did you end up doing with the wheel arch outer skin, just squared off or something more creative?

I'mm going to glue the panels on streight then cut the actual arch as small as i can to get a wheel off while the trailer is siting on a jack, so the tyres will look tucked.

So, i have moved house, got a girlfriend, helped her move, been on a months holidays and started a new job that's been demanding 10+ hours of "for love" overtime.
as such this the first update in a very long time.
trailer now has a fully locking rear door with 3 latches, and waterproof seals. have cut out the paneling for one side to glue on today if it stops raining.

Been wondering how this thing was going.

no. i need to connect the breaks and take it to the pits where they will probably tell met to piss off and get someone who can weld to re do the draw bar plates...
but actually other then those it is done, just need to stick reflectors on and get the jimny roadworthey so i can tow it to the pitts without them puting a yellow sticker on my car shortly after passing my trailer out...

I found cable size was critical with the brakes working correctly.

The standard 7 core cable is useless, I had heaps of problems with the brakes on one side not working and the trailer pulling hard under brakes. It would actually lift the back of the Jimny and make it dive hard left.
I spent ages fault finding and testing the circuits. In the end I just ran new cables (the wires measured about 3.5mm diameter) from the plug to each drum and they started working perfectly.

Up For sale at the moment, but if I cant sell it, I might just keep it.
it makes camping too easy and is much more enjoyable then a swag.
