I tried a lot of different shapes before I decided. Was harder than I thought it would be.

i made the rear door for this last weekend. think im going to chuck my rods in the oven tonight. i have a bucket with a lid and enough desiccant to keep the rods dry. makes it so much easier to weld. my welds will have to be pretty good but. they have to be able to handle the Central Arnhem road to go anywhere.

found 7 tubes of off selastic after cutting cleaning and prepping all the surfaces to panel the trailer up. should not keep that stuff in the shed where it hits 60"C...
bought some more, so i can finish the rear door today if the power stays on...

great set up
my concern with this is will it put strain on your motor on long trips causing it to over heat

and going down to put the wheels back on now XD went and saw the bloke at the local tyre shop who never called me. he reordered my trailer tyres and rims after selling the ones i ordered to a f150 owner. so looks like ill have 8 bfgkm2's in total, with a spare for the trailer and the car.

Yours may not see the salt as often as mine though. Maybe just those plastic end cap plugs, then it would be sealed and accessible.

0 oxygen, 0 moisture. it cant rust inside. in fact its impossible unless it gets unsealed. like a collision or something. clearly that's the optimal focal length for my phones camera too. best detail I've ever seen it give!

finally finished the wheel arches and welded up (sorta, I cant actually weld) the front door to stop the wind getting in. just need to attach the front door with something, weld the rear door hinges on, fit the lights and the side pannels.

Rear door has lights just need to mount it now! it was dark but i finished welding the hinges onto the door. looking at the welds im not sure if i got enough penetration but i bunged a whole heap of metal in for good measure. tomorrow it will be weld the other half of the hinges onto the trailer ass end and mount the door. then i can cut bits out of the door to mount the latches

didn't mount the latches but wired the positive for the electric breaks! and welded the hinges onto the trailer and mounted the rear door. kinda feel like I'm getting the hang of this welding stuff. only caught fire twice today.

nope. started a new job as "chemical process and modeling engineer" i prefered the job title "mine shaman" but aparantly thats a legitimate qualification in rio tinto and im not qualified for it.......
all i need to actually do is weld tubes in the tow hitch, weld the hitch plate on, put a latch on the rear door, glue on the sides, add reflectors and take it to be roadwortheyed/rejoed.
but instead im moving house. again...
