I had my mum convinced to buy a swift, dad took her to Darwin with cash for a new one and they stood around in the showroom being ignored for more then a hour and a half. She gave up and went next door and bought a jazz. Horrible little shitty thing.

depending on the girl, they can also suffer neglect... lol my cousin is a shocker - she delays servicing up to 1000km overdue, runs on flat tyres, only uses the cheapest fuel etc... and she revs the shit out of it. I wouldn't necessarily class a female owner as a positive all the time.

1000km over due for servicing..........

Really?

We don't have any come through the dealership with problems except for a stupid 20 sum thing chick bought one new and did 60000km in a year without a service brought it back and asked us to check a funny noise when braking.
Needed new rotors and pads because she drove resting her left foot on the pedal. Service adviser called her up and told her that's the issue and she rushed back to pick it up because she thought we were having her on saying its a brand new car and should not have worn brake pads.
Drove off with it still making funny noises, running like crap and the brake lights on as she raced off down the street.

Are the RE4's another version of the Sports? My misses wants one, just trying to figure out what to look for.

The place my missus works has 3 suzuki swift 2005 models for office run around cars. One person that works there has a 3 hour round trip to work every day. His drive car now has over 300k on the clock with no major problems, just regular servicing. I was very impressed .

They supply them as a part and it's up to you if you fit them.
The one's for my wife's are hanging in the garage in the Suzuki Packaging....
There only a sticker.
Think of the RE4 as the light weight Race/Rally pack of the 1.5 litre.
I drove the new 1.4 when looking and it was a slug.
Under powered in the new bigger shell.

The RE Tag is a factory dress up of the base.
The RE4 was the nicest of the old shape.
The new shape is at RE1 and its nothing special.
The Sport is The Black Mamba...@1.6 But carries extra weight so needs it.

99% of the targeted market that buys them fits them unfortunately.

I own a 2012 Holden cruze sri. As for the car, its a great car.
Motor is awesome and fuel economy is excellent. only flaw is the auto is a bit laggy...

not that you asked or care haha

Also, something to consider....if you buy a smll car, you will forever be relying on other people to take you to Tibro. I took the cruze there once and bottomed out twice haha Never again

Something that was a problem with most of the cars I looked at was wear on the outer edge of the drivers seat, due to a metal hoop in the side of the seat that slowly chomps through the foam and then into the material, I think its worse on cars owned by short people as they cant reach the ground getting out.

The car I ended up buying had a nice pirate scar stitch job hiding under some cheap covers so I had to get it fixed up

So I took a drive down to Bulldog Trimming to see Benchai to get mine sorted out

Didnt take long once I plonked the seat on the bench before it was all in bits, the damage to the foam was pretty nasty

Didnt take long at all to pick the busted material out and make up new pieces and stitch in, even keeping the fancy red stitching, funny to say didn't take long when I remember the last time I tried to use a sewing machine, was a mess pompoms

Them some chopping, glueing, more chopping, more glueing and shaping and the damaged foam was as good as new, this pic was part way through the shaping, I didnt get a pic of the extra material stuck over the foam and underneath to protect it from the metal hoop so it will last longer, Benchai works too fast 8O

And finished pompoms
You wouldn't think such a small thing would make a difference but the seat is a lot better now both sides are the same shape and t doesn't bite your leg getting in and out.

I am pretty big on doing stuff myself but I am glad I got it done, my method would of been a new cover at $365 and no idea on the foam and I would of spent all day fiddling with it and still mucked it up, even with a 100km drive down and a bit more back (found some mountains) it was all done and I was home by lunch Armsup

Big thanks to Benchai for sorting it out for me :goodjob:
