Hi folks,

apparently the electronics in my throttle body has fried (engine warning light on, no cruise control and running thirsty). Looking online for a replacement I can find a TB for a 2010 but nothing for a 2011. I’ve seen two types: cardone 36236xk and Cardone 6E3018. But if someone can point me in the right direction of a solid alternative at a (hopefully) reasonable price I would be muchly appreciative. All helpful suggestions gratefully received.

Cheers
Greg

Yup - that’s one of the ones I saw. Can I assume that there are no problems to put that into a 2011 NGV?

Hopefully, I'm not out of line, but what makes you think the electronics in the throttle body have "fried"?

I'm not familiar with the 3.2, but, on the smaller Suzuki engines, it's a "drive-by-wire" throttle system, and if mine "fried" I would expect to not be able to drive the vehicle. The cruise control is disabled for any check engine light issue, so that is not a pointer to failed throttle body electronics, and, at least in my mind, neither is running thirsty - maybe if the MAF is integrated into the throttle body (it isn't on my car)

What codes are you getting?

Not out of line at all. I’m pretty much a newbie with this one so I appreciate any advice. I can’t tell you the codes as my mechanic hasn’t told me what the reader spat out. It was a while back but he said I could pop in and he’ll get the codes again.

I’ll check if the MAF is integrated into the throttle body (unless anyone wants to fill in the blanks).

Cheers
