Post subject:  Intended method for removing steering wheel cover

I am in the process of restoring my 1984 Suzuki sierra and I tried to remove the steering wheel cover bit.
Everywhere online said to just pull on it which does work to remove it however you can no longer put it back. (I broke it)

I was wondering what the intended way to remove the wheel was and whether I need to replace it.
(Hopefully there are images there I am new here)

Everywhere on line you say!

With LJs and 1.0L Sierra, you push in and turn anticlockwise maybe from 12 to 10 or 9 and then let it out. Alternately in your case, you can remove the 17mm nut and the steering wheel and see from the back.

Hope this helps

Thanks, I think I must of been looking in the wrong places, I was able to remove the broken bit and I should just be able to glue it back together.
