Hi everyone,
I am booked in with a wheel aligner (this is a long and complicated story that I won't bore you with) and basically he said things will be easy as long as the Grand Vitara had both "camber and tow in adjustments". He said most 4wd do, like Prado, but some cars like Suburu only have one.
Do you know what my GV has?

Camber is not adjustable, to do that you need aftermarket camber bolts. Toe is adjustable (I’ve never encountered a vehicle that doesn’t have adjustable toe, even ride on mowers do)

I presume a 40mm dobinson lift kit doesn't change anything?

The Dobinson kit would have come with front camber bolts & factory toe adjustment, via the tie rods & the rear has factory toe & camber adjustment.

Awesome thanks
((PS .Hi Steve & Atari (and any of the regulars who look in)... Long time! I'm not really active anymore for a combination of my busy life (2 new kids, masters, new job etc.) and the fact this is all happening from inner Melbourne. Very little wheeling, fishing or camping these days))
