Hi everyone. so i have an sj80 coily that i am preparing to swap in an engine from a 1994 swift gti. in viewtopic.php?f=5&t=36242 this write up it mentions being able to fit a distributor from a vitara on to one of these engines. i am interested in exploring this idea further and am looking for more infomation on how this is done. what type/year model dizzy works, how to modify the magnetic points etc basically any infomation on the subject. my other question is regarding the gti ecu i will be using, it has a pin for a/c on off. my sierra is fitted with a/c and i was wondering what the ecu does and whether i should wire this function in. i am guessing it is either something to do with how it idles with a/c on or it turns the a/c off under acceleration. maybe both? thanks in advance.
