Does anyone know where I can get the small spring that goes with the little ball bearing in the dial of the free wheeling hub. Long story short I’ve lost mine while replacing my wheel bearings and servicing my hubs. I’ve tried the auto parts stores in town and the don’t have one. Thinking I might be able to go to an engineering workshop or mechanics in town and see what they have. Also can’t find them online from the searching that I’ve done.

Don’t really want to buy a new hub for the sake of a tiny spring :?

Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.

I’d try bearing places, Statewide Bearings here in WA but not sure where you are.

If you get stuck I can post you one, I happen to have lost the small ball bearing on one. Hmmph

Cheers mate, I think there is a bearing place in town, I’ll try them. I’m in Mount Isa Queensland. I’d say if I get some measurements off the one I haven’t managed to loose I might be able to track down something that will work.

Cheers for the offer to post one if I get stuck I will let you know :peaceout:

Thanks for the advice mate, I’ll have to check if there is a wreckers in town. I haven’t seen one but also haven’t been looking. So all aisin hubs will have the same springs?

Mount Isa! There’s bound to be a million old landcruisers wrecked around there!! Try the tip too, if they have a car dump there there’s a good chance you’ll find some. Still happy to post if you’re not having a win
