Hello fellow zookers, my name is Kian just recently bought my first car and it's a 1997 Suzuki Sierra hard top.
So far really happy with how she runs, came with 110,000 on the clock and have notchef 1000 more in the first week, so far hasn't missed a beat.
I have a few questions and would greatly appreciate if someone could answer them for me.
For highway driving; in fifth gear and going ~100km/h, is sitting on 4000 revs normal?
And for the best mods to make, what would you recommend? (tyres, light bars, lift kits, engine swaps, ect.)
Here's a pic, cheers.

Hi Kian, welcome to the forum.

4K is a little too high. It’s possible a leaf transfer case has been installed- this is a common modification which will result in lower gearing in high and low range.

As for modifications- you can answer this yourself with the following guide- what do you want the car to do better/what are you willing for it to do worse so that it does something else better.

Read through this a few times regarding modifications.

For the record. My favourite 2 mods are gearing and power steer.

If this is your 1st car & you've had it a week & drive 1000km - well done to you - exiting times, but before you start ripping into mods, I think it would be worth getting to know the car better in a wide variety of conditions, go 4WDriving with caution & read up on here about what might suit what you want to do with it.
As it is a SJ80 / coily, the general wisdom is to keep it as low & as stock as possible to drive what you want to drive, while accepting the outright ability & mods limit is reached earlier with a coily than it is with a leaf sprung car.
Welcome to Zuk ownership & have fun!.
Rgs, Michael
