Somebody please jog my memory on how to spot a NT or WT gearbox .
The little sensor switches sit in slightly different locations. I have like two of each, none with switches and plan to rebuild
Also my hazy memory wants to ask didn't one have a slightly different 5th gear ratio?

So found the answer to confirm my memory. 0.795 older box, 0.864 newr box. Did find one 88 brochure with 1324cc engine listed and 0.864 5th gear.
Still need to work out which box is which :peaceout:

Yep ratios are correct. Aside from turning the input shaft and marking the output (the difference you’ll see is very small, might be difficult to discern) I’m not sure how to tell which box is geared with which 5th ratio
