when the o.p. gets in on the action surely everyone realizes its just a bit of fun,

on a side note,
i truly believe that snake oil, hi clones and fuel line magnets all do their job perfectly......

if their job is to assist sly fookers in legally stealing cash from stupid people

my bad

I have a Subaru one fitted which has a shroud build in fits perfectly just to make up brackets to bolt it up.
Then I have ordered a temp cut in switch off eBay which cuts in and stays on as long as the coolant temp is a above 80 degrease, it's generic but screws straight into the manifold This triggers a relay.

And if you buy a quality relay and waterproof holder and wire it with heat shrink and condute it will be reliable

And I will prob put in a switch and diode that will slow me to trigger it from inside if I want to also

Thanks Red89 and Sleepdawgy for the good info very helpful :peaceout:
I've got that SPAL fan on its way its only 2inch profile so will have good clearance from the front of the motor, hopefully its going to fit diameter wise should, going by my measurements but some times its hard to know until your putting it together.

If you want the most effective fan ever, put some TEK screws through the clutch

I've had to do that on a holden rodeo I used to drive for work - the "incredibly simple and reliable" viscous clutch fan wouldn't kick in to stop it from overheating until it almost cooked the motor, then it cooled down to below normal operating temp when it finally did kick in - hence the tek screw was installed to get us home. granted it had a bad head gasket, but still it shook my faith in the mechanical fans.

Can't wait to see the install pics, i'm keen to do this to my jim eventually.
