Hey guys, I am wanting to know everything you can tell me about Power Steering conversions for a 92 Sierra.

Ive been messing around with multiple stock steering boxes now and have had it with them :lol:

I see alot of the yanks do Prius Power Steering swaps but have been seeing a lot about the Vitara swap aswell.

I do plan on converting to the 16V 1.6 engine so would a vitara swap be the pick? and if so is there a step by step guide on the steering conversion?

Jimny or vitara. Lots of info on here.
The Prius swap adds assist to the steering shaft, the standard manual steering box is retained, so that won’t fix your problem.
