Does anyone know how well the Wipec lights perform. I'm considering getting 4x spot beam pattern lights and fitting them with 100w globes. Considering 4 of them with the globes cost $100 plus postage, its not that bad of an experiment to try out, but I thought I'd see if any of you gents have any idea on performance.

A few points

They are in the UK and it doesnt seem that postage to Australia is offered
If postage was offered, the lights would cost as much again to post, stuff out of the UK is dear once it cracks 2kg

Now to lights in general

400w along the roof is near on 30amp of current, assuming your alternator can support that whilst also running your high beam and everything else, even with whats commonly referred to as 6mm cable you are losing a volt just from relay to lights, thats enough alone to cause a noticeable output drop

Consider upping your budget a bit and grabbing one of the many different LED bars talked about on here, more light for less current draw and a lot more low profile on the roof, less chance of knocking and breaking them
