PLEASE NOTE : SOME OF THE DIFF RATIOS ARE INCORRECT IF IN DOUBT PLEASE COUNT YOUR CROWNWHEEL AND PINION TEETH IF SOURCING ANOTHER DIFF CENTRE. I HAVE DISCOVERED THAT SOME DIFF RATIOS IN PARTICULAR IN OTHER MARKETS ARE DIFFERENT TO AUSTRALIAN DELIVERED SUZUKI. FOR EXAMPLE IF YOU LOOK AT THE TABLE ON BIGJIMNY THEY LIST RATIOS FOR THE EUROPEAN MARKET (E02 MARKET CODE M13A NON VVT MT 3.909 AT 4.090) HERE IN THE AUSTRALIAN MARKET (E24)THE RATIOS IN PARTICULAR NON VVT M13A JIMNY THEY LIST THAT THE CROWNWHEEL AND PINION SET ARE THE SAME FOR MANUAL AND AUTO (27300-80880 4.09 RATIO) i am compiling a list of every diff ratio suzuki ever bought out in every car produced. hopefully this can be the resource of all resources for every suzuki ever made with help and input from the greater suzuki community that is not only auszookers , but from other forums. for instance there is a lot on confusion on diff ratios of jimny , even i get confused when ive wrecked jimny's with three diff ratio's which dont match what literature says they are supposed to be. if we can get all the accurate info in one thread with one list then this will be the greatest resource on earth without having to search through hundreds of google searches ! i will post a cut and paste from several already posted literature on the net , along with some that ive pulled from my experience . please feel free to correct any errors so we can update this list to be the most accurate on the internet . Baleno manual, Swift Gti, Swift Cino, and Alto are all FWD transaxle transmissions, without what we would regard as a usable differential for our purposes. SK410 Super Carry 5.125:1 |

Awesome gearing table (and other info) for Sierras and LJs. http://www.4x4.in.th/specification.html Note the SJ30 has a 1.741 high and 3.052 low. I don't suppose you have the tooth counts of these 303? Also, JA71 rear is 1l sized. AFIAK it gives the lowest ratio you can get for 6.5" diffs. Another interesting observation is that the JDM Sierras have a crawl ratio similar to that of a WT with 4.16s. |

SJ413 = 3.909 diff ratio lj10/lj20 centres are smaller and not interchangeable with later Lj50/lj80/410 / maruti diffs Lj10/20/50/80(mark1)/81 all have 22spline side gears front and rear LJ80(mark2) and sj410 has 26 spline side gears in the rear 26spline side gears only fit in the Lj80(mark2) or 410 carrier which can be swapped into the earlier lj50/80/81 diffs lock right 1510 works with either lj80(mark2) or 410 26spline side gears. Lj80 and earlier side gears have a square tooth profile sj410 side gears have a rounded tooth profile . |

^^ Agreed, tooth count or GTFO. Might avoid me getting on my usual 4.09/4.11 high horse. |

I have a Carry Van with a G16B conversion which really needs gearing down a bit. I have been investigating a replacement diff centre and the 3.9 Jimny looks like it may be a swap over. I read that there is a different number of splines in the front and rear. The axles in a Carry van are 22 spline and 24mm diameter. How does that compare to Jimny axles? Regards |

Is there any way I can get 3.9 diff gears to fit a 2000 Jimny? |

[quote="losfer"] Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.5 i V6 144 cv 4.30:1 1.816 / 1.00 /quote] I've read elsewhere online that only the manual transmission 2.5L v6 has a 4.30 ratio, and that the auto has a 4.88 ratio. Is anyone able to confirm or deny this?? |

Maruti lwb also 4.1 but it would seem that the nt maruti has the smaller front sidegears (1ltr size) in the center ? Is anyone with a nt maruti able to confirm |

Ok so this is bothering me. Jimny rear diff centre ratios. When i look up every Jimny on https://catalogs.ssg.asia/suzuki/?lang=en everything pre 2005 is coming up with the same part number for both auto and manual for the crownwheel and pinion. so according to my parts list everything pre 2005 (g13bb and m13a non vvt)(sn413v-sn413v4) is part number 27300-80880 which is 4.09 ratio for both auto and manual transmissions. m13a (sn413v5 to sn413v9)vvt jimny is coming up with 3.9 for manual part number 27300-56800 and 4.09 for auto part number 27300-80880. help!!! |
