For those that don't have or don't have access to a rattle gun, here is an easy how to remove the transfer case flange guide.
Tools required:
-Small flathead screwdriver
-x2 50mm bolts and nuts
-28mm socket
-breaker bar
-x2 1.5ish metre 25x25 square tube
Step 1:
With the flathead screwdriver unfold the folded edges on the flange nuts.
Step 2:
Place the bolts and nuts through two opposite holes on one of the flanges. Sit one of the lengths of square tube in-between the two bolts and turn the flange until the length of tube lock between the bolts and the ground.
Step 3:
Place 28mm socket onto to breaker bar and slide the other length of tube other the breaker bar handle. Load up a bit of weight onto the bar and place a foot onto the transfer case to keep it steady. Slowly with force use the leverage to crack the seal of the nut. Once you have cracked the seal you wont need the leverage of the extension to undo the nut.
Step 4:
Repeat steps 2 and 3 on the other two nuts and your done.
