well i didnt make it or fab it but i did install it today:P
I picked up my ironman 2" leafs the other day for $530 The LJ has hilux shocks on it all round as i found out last week, and has non LJ springs. ripped the front off and were bigger then the 1's i bought but they were rusted to the hills and shoved the newies in... no hieght gain just dropped it a few mm's, was a bit annoyed but got over it quickly. shoved the rears on and noticed the difference quick smart, it looked higher overall. i also got a new set of shackles for the front and poly bushes off ebay, had a little drama with the bushes tho...... you buy 2 sets for a complete bush replacement but they have made the sets up wrong to what i can understand. i know that LJ's require 2 big bush sets for 1 spring and 1 smaller bush set. in a kit the give you 2 big bushes and 6 smaller sets for the front springs and same for the rear. so obviously they'd f!cked that up. would this dilema also be the case for early sierra's? |

No, it's only on the early LJ50's. The later LJ50 had the same 1 big + 2 small bush set ups as the 80, and later Sierras. Bummer, I threw out some early LJ50 wide bush shackles a few mths ago. |
