This is not the first time I've seen folks talk about noise from the zips, but is it really that much of an issue? I came across a tip somewhere about replacing the zipper pulls on an awning with para cord to prevent them from clanging, but I've never heard mine.

I dunno mate, to me - the tinkle of zippers rattling would be nice!

But they would need to be pretty ruddy big zippers to hear over my tinnitus
