Work lights on your rig are great, but who wants to always have to get into the vehicle to use 'em, I didn't!! Well I did a little mod a while back which comes in handy especially when camping, or need light when setting up camp, working outside etc All lights controlled via a code hopping key fob, but I have also fitted dash switches for when in the vehicle.

Cheers Fellas!

Here's a little vid.

Works fine for me.
It opens up the MP4 in a separate window on my laptop.

I was actually pretty impressed with this method for sharing videos.
I can't be bothered uploading anything to youtube and so far couldn't find any other way to imbed videos to posts without having a link to open in my photobucket. But this works.

It won't work for those using crappatalk, you'll have to go to the web site and view the forum as it should be seen... ;)

Oh, nice job on the lights too. :)

Yeah that's right. It buffers and plays as a MP4.

Cheers Pete!

Hey Fellas,

Cheers! :D

I bought a 4 channel garage door opener from the local electronics store. Each channel can be set to either latching or momentary via dip switches. Each channel can also be set as normally closed or normally open. It can used set to control light, tailgate/trunk opener, or even as a remote engine start, whatever. The relays are only good for around 5 amps, so you will need to fit an additional high current relay to that channel/s if running a big load. I have found it to be very useful when camping. Jump out of the tent into the pitch black night, tap the remote and BAM it's day! No tripping over crap etc. I've tested the range and got around 100 metres line of sight which is pretty damn good.

The unit is similar to this one - http://www.electronickits.com/kit/compl ... ck1616.htm

Only took around 10 minutes to wire into my lights.

Hope this helps!
