Great idea. I might pinch this and make one of my own for the farm. The only "nice" improvement would be to be able to open/close a couple of holes with some sort of swinging flap to get the airflow just right.... but honestly, I doubt I could be arsed. |

I did think about this but I couldn't be bothered spending too much time on it You could use an excess piece of the cylinder, cut it and reweld so it slides over the exterior of the brazier. Then drill holes in it at the same spacing as the ones on the brazier so when it's rotated on the brazier it will reduce flow to each air hole. |

Actually, I do have a few 600 vac-sec holley's in the shed doing nothing. Now to crack another beer and work out how to plum some kind of fire-starter into the mix. |

I do actually have pistons and headers a plenty. What a fantastic idea, albeit slightly (very) bogan. |

Awesomeness. tank is a combustion chamber only so it has to have a door that seals really well and a electric motor to spool the turbo to prime it. combine it with a glowplug and injector for kerro and fill it with wood she would become self sustaining without kerro and turbo-alternating pretty quick. would be fun to play with (increasing electrical load) to see how much power you could get out of it. turbo size and intake swirl on the exhaust side would prevent some particulate getting into the bearings via Centrifugal force. solar panel's may be easier, but at night this could heat and light your house. plus you are releasing some CO2 to grow more trees to burn!

wonder if the alternator load got too low if you could melt the thing from producing too much boost. that would be awesome! |

copper tube direct from the cold side of the turbo into the exhaust tip, and inject extra kerro. you know, for afterburning. so visiting the scrap pile at work tomorrow!!! |
