Hi All,
I'm new here...thought I'd share.
just bought an 89 2 door soft top Vitara.
Came without rear bumper so I made one.



Started by mounting a piece of 75x75 RHS to the original rear bar frame mounting holes.





Then started sheeting it.





Cut the sides to match the rear arches and welded in some flat for strength.



Sheeted the top.



Welded it all up, ground the welds smooth and gave it a coat of zinc.







Painted it satin black and fitted it.

That's some serious rear bar there.

Now you wont need one of those "back off" stickers, the bar says it all

Lol! Yeah. Figured if I get hit from behind I'd like a 'little' protection for the fuel tank.

That is massive, have you thought about putting a couple of little reversing lights in that bar?

Nice i like it.how does it look straight on from the back.ive been thinking of something like this for ages as mine is looking very fleemzy..
