yer yer i'm sure everyone will think it's dodgy.. but it's for offroad use only.... and it works. I needed a 100mm longer shaft, so i cut two shafts and sleeved it with some tube. I drilled some holes along the standard shaft and once the tube was inside i welded in the holes, basicly connecting the outside tube to the inside tube. This is about 100mm longer than standard. |

now i remember. It's actually two different shafts. i purprosly cut them both that length , so i had a space to weld them to the inner tube. PS. where the cut on the long side of the shaft is, is where the shaft ended. It's a front shaft with a rear shaft end welded on,.. I'll get a measurement tomorrow for the hell of it. |

That seems fine. Its a trail rig, why would you bother buying a spacer?? Doesn't need to be perfectly balanced or anything. I would even go as far as RHS shafts on a trail rig. When your going slow they don't need to be balanced. |

another trick is to get some heavywall pipe the right diameter and replace the whole lot, then its more impact resistent too |
