Yeah, I am. I could have changed the entire cable over, but after looking at both setups, I figured the carby cable (as you've stated) was the better engineered one, and has a better adjustment setup. That, and I only discovered the difference after the engine was in - easier to change the bracket....

in the process of doing the same conversion essentially, LWB vit EFI engine into a SWB carby vit.

should prove to be pretty useful over the next week or two when i start putting the engine and everything back in myne
