friday night had nothing to do so i decided to fit a bar to the front of the jimny. it was off a landrover disco. made up custom mounts and fits perfect

Ok joeblows. I understand what ur trying to say and I agree it's definately not the nicest lookin bar. But I don't give a shit as it was free and still does the job. What other bar have u seen That can keep stock in?

Doesnt look THAT bad. Wont have to worry about decreased airflow into the grill.

From the photos you have posted it actually looks like it was designed for a Jimny, everything just seems to line up. Personally I'm not a fan of this style of bar but others are and for a free bar it's come up really well.

How much work was required to make it bolt up? Any pics of the mounting arrangement you came up with?

The angles line up well, not everyone is a fan and for free I don't care haha When I get home this afternoon I will take some pics of the side on angle and the brackets I welded up..

That's got heaps more clearance than it looks like from the front on pics. Looks like it was made for it. :goodjob:

Its not my first choice for a bar

But as you said its free and it does look like it was made for it, especially side on.
